On Friday, January 18th, hundreds of thousands of people descended upon Washington D.C. to march in the March for Life. The March for Life is an annual rally hosted in D.C. every January since 1974, on or around the date that Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973. The March commemorates the lives lost since the court case, celebrates the strides made in the pro-life movement, and energizes activists to advocate for life in their communities.
