After a long work or school week, it’s common to crave a vacation. There are so many places to go both within and outside of the United States when you wish to travel on a budget. Cost can vary depending on where you stay, how you eat, et cetera, but it’s possible to venture away from your current place of residence with a busy woman’s schedule.

Savannah, Georgia

Being the oldest city in Georgia, Savannah has a lot of historical value. You can find plenty to do here such as a ghost tour, a history tour, and even a riverboat cruise. Savannah’s southern charm is almost unmatched.

New York, New York

If you’re craving the city life, New York is an excellent getaway destination. Shop on Time Square, stroll through Central Park, attend a baseball game, or catch a Broadway play. New York City truly never sleeps, so you can make the most out of a weekend by spending it here.

Orlando, Florida

Gulf Shores, Alabama

Gulf Shores is Alabama’s “small town, big beach” equipped with beautiful white sand beaches, water parks, golf courses, and even a zoo. If you’re craving fresh seafood, look no further than the many restaurants in this small town. Gulf Shores is a budget friendly getaway for anyone craving the ocean.

Gatlinburg, Tennessee

Gatlinburg is settled within the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. Home to an aquarium, a national park, and many tourist activities on the main strip, it’s impossible to be bored in Gatlinburg. Opt for one of the many comfort food restaurants during your stay. The mountains are calling, why not go?

Cozumel, Mexico

Many cruise lines offer short cruises to Cozumel, a tourist destination in Mexico. Shop at the local markets, swim with dolphins, or snorkel with wildlife in the crystal clear waters. Don’t forget to try some authentic Mexican cuisine on this adventure.  

Seattle, Washington

San Antonio, Texas
