14 Completed Series You Can Binge on Disney+

When Disney+ first released in November of 2019, I refused to purchase it, insisting that I could not subscribe to something that would destroy my productivity until I finished the novel I was writing for National Novel Writing Month. That month ended, I had a draft of my novel, but I continued to exist without Disney+, instead relying on my usuals stream of Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. 

Then came COVID-19, a complete shutdown of my workplace, and basically a life lived indoors. I went ahead and added Disney+ to my Hulu subscription, an added $7 expense a month. I figured I could swing that, especially since I was going to be on my couch for the foreseeable future. 

Once I set up my account, I discovered a gold mine of completed series to binge. I have commitment issues, so I prefer to watch a show after it’s got several, if not all, seasons out, so I can do it at my own pace, and avoid a wait time where I will inevitably lose interest. If you’re like me, or you’re just looking for a way to pass the time during social distancing, Disney+ has the answer for you. 

Here are 14 completed series that you can watch, in their entirety, on Disney+. Watch responsibility, folks. 

Hannah Montana

This show was why I didn’t allow myself to get Disney+ at first. This show–there are four seasons–dominated my life, and it’s a great nostalgic throwback that isn’t actually that far back. You know what you’re getting–teen girl drama, from a normal girl, and an international pop star.

Even Stevens

A classic? Don’t mind if I do. Take it old school with Even Stevens, especially if you love young Shia LaBouf, crazy families, and mindless binging. 

Boy Meets World

This is another classic–and another reason many people sought out Disney+. I remember watching this in the morning before school, and so it’s a sweet treat to slide back into the life of Cory and Topanga. 

Lizzie McGuire

There’s a reason everyone was so excited when it was announced that there might be a sequel series! This show is a classic, and young Hilary Duff was a gift to us all. It’s a family sitcom with a lens on Lizzie’s fun life. Tune in directly to the Aaron Carter Christmas special for a treat. 

Phineas and Ferb

This show came later in my teenage years, but it was always something I could watch and enjoy, regardless of seeing any other episode. That hasn’t changed. Stuck inside? Dive into their endless summer. 

The Suite Life of Zack and Cody

Come on–what’s better to watch while stuck inside than two twins having the reign of a hotel? The antics are insane, and you won’t be able to stop watching. It’s also amazing to see all the guest stars roll through. 

The Suite Life on Deck

Can’t get enough of the Sprouses? Follow them to sea, where you’ll get antics on the water, lots of ship jokes, and our favorite character back again. 

Wizards of Waverly Place

Take it back to your childhood by tuning into Wizards of Waverly Place–and discover young Selena Gomez all over again. There’s magic, family drama, spells gone wrong, and it’ll definitely take your mind off the world outside. 

Shake It Up

Before Zendaya was a household name and superstar, she was dancing and grooving on Shake It Up, along with TV BFF Bella Thorne. Oh, how they both have changed. Take it to simpler times with this dance-heavy show, especially if you’re missing performing. 

JONAS

Upset about the fact that the Jonas Brothers memoir got pushed back again? Quench your thirst with their silly, semi-fictional TV Show, complete with song and dance.

Kim Possible

Who doesn’t love a good, strong female protagonist kicking butt? This animated classic is perfect binge-watching material and will inspire your Halloween choices for years to come. 

That’s So Raven

Throwback Thursday! Visions, fashion, friendship, and more–Raven Symone delivers in this Disney classic. There are also several seasons of the spin-off following her children available to stream. 

Recess

Talk about a throwback! School’s out for us, but not for our beloved characters in this show. Fourth grade was a lot different for me,but that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy all six seasons of this animated show, which first premiered when I was only 2 years old, but has really held up.

Out of the Box

Do you ever rediscover something and have deep flashbacks of it? That was Out of the Box for me. I can’t even explain this show, but you’ll watch 5 minutes of it and immediately be drawn back into your childhood. This is a great show to have on while you craft, babysit,or clean. Also, if you have kids: show them this!
