Senator Marsha Blackburn publishes children’s book (and goes live with FFL Founder, Amanda!)

Senator Marsha Blackburn and her daughter, Mary Morgan Ketchel, wrote and published a children’s book celebrating the 10-year-anniversary of the 19th amendment. The book, Camilla Can Vote, follows Camilla on a class trip to the history museum and goes back in time to the ratification of the 19th amendment. The story holds personal significance for Marsha Blackburn, who was the first female elected to the Senate from the state of Tennessee. On the book launch day, July 14, Blackburn and Ketchel joined the FFL Founder, Amanda, for an interview over Instagram Live!

Four Republican women running for Congress earn Susan B. Anthony List endorsement, including Senator Martha McSally

The pro-life organization endorsed four GOP women this week in their congressional races. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-02), Adrienne Bennett (ME-02), and Nancy Mace (SC-01) gained the endorsement for their House races, and Senator Martha McSally (AZ) received the organization’s support for her special Senate re-election campaign. The endorsement is granted to candidates who express and practice pro-life values in their political offices.

Ivanka Trump encourages young adults to “find something new” with joint job campaign

In a joint campaign led by Apple, the White House, the Ad Council, and others, young adults are being encouraged to pursue “apprenticeships and other training programs” in lieu of a college degree. The “find something new” campaign is led partly by Ivanka Trump, and recent ads are geared toward those who lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is the latest job-focused effort from Ivanka Trump among the many professional and educational initiatives she has led throughout her tenure in the administration.
