Abortion. One of the most hotly contested social issues of the past 60 years. Everyone seems to have an opinion and people who believe in pro-life principles often find themselves on the defense in these arguments against a bulldog pro-abortion activists. Thankfully, there is now a solution to arm pro-life activists with the facts. Danielle D’Souza Gill wrote The Choice, out today, dissecting every myth pro-choicers use and debunks every single one with facts, logic, and hard-hitting honesty.
This book couldn’t be more timely as the social issues debates seem to be at the forefront of every election. This book’s layout makes it easy for any activists to flip to a section that they need help finding their footing on when it comes to the debate and lays it out in an easy-to-understand way.
The book is broken down into 5 different overarching arguments that we seem to hear a lot:
“Cluster of Cells”
“My Body, My Choice”
“A Positive Good”
“Lesser of Two Evils”
“Better Off Dead”
D’Souza Gill leaves no stone uncovered as she dissects every single myth from fetal pain to “necessary” abortions to Planned Parenthood to the idea of “unwanted” children.
The book was also so thoroughly researched that there are 350 citations for 275 pages of reading material.
The Choice is a compilation of every argument a pro-life activist will encounter or has already encountered on the front lines of the abortion debate. I was grateful to get my hands on a digital copy of the book for a review before it’s publication date, but the book was so incredible that I pre-ordered the book so that I could get a physical copy.
I can’t recommend this book enough and I can’t wait to see how everyone else reacts to it. The Choice is everything pro-choicers don’t want you to know. In fact, they don’t want you to read because it will prepare you for the debates to come. It will allow you to successfully counter pro-abortion arguments you hear.
It is a must read for pro-life activists.
