I think it’s fair to say that Representative Elise Stefanik is officially a star within the GOP. Between her fiery defense of the president during the impeachment inquiry to her efforts to elect more Republican women, she has been a great representative for her district. In 2019, Stefanik announced the launch of Elevate PAC, or E-PAC, which is dedicated to helping Republican women in elections across the U.S.

On February 6th, Stefanik announced E-PAC’s second round of endorsed candidates. The first round was released in October 2019. The eight candidates have met the PAC’s metrics for success and have outlined a clear path to victory. Of the eight, five of them have been moved up from E-PAC’s Women to Watch list to the Endorsed Candidates list.

The following are the candidates that have been officially endorsed and a fact about them:

  • NY-22: Claudia Tenney was the only American employed by the Consulate General of Yugoslavia.

  • PA-07: Lisa Scheller has been clean for 38 years and uses her platform to spread a message of hope and resilience. She is one of the candidates that has been elevated from the Women to Watch list.

  • MN-07: Michelle Fischbach was the first woman to serve as the President of the Minnesota Senate. She is one of the candidates that has been elevated from the Women to Watch list.

  • OK-05: Stephanie Bice modernized Oklahoma’s liquor laws while in the Oklahoma Senate, opening the door for local breweries and economic development opportunities. She is one of the candidates that has been elevated from the Women to Watch list.

  • IA-02: Mariannette Miller-Meeks was inspired to become a doctor after being burned in a kitchen fire in the 10th grade.

  • AZ-01: Tiffany Shedd has worked as a bi-lingual kindergarten teacher and is a certified pistol and shotgun coach. She is one of the candidates that has been elevated from the Women to Watch list.

  • NJ-11: Rosemary Becchi co-authored the 529 College Savings Plan while serving on the majority staff for the U.S. Senate Finance Committee as tax counsel. She is one of the candidates that has been elevated from the Women to Watch list.

  • IL-15: Mary Miller is a teacher in three different places: in a network of home schools, Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School.
