Election season 2020 is getting into full swing, and we’re excited that there has been a surge in Republican women running for public office. Here at FFL, we like to celebrate the conservative women running for office and give our readers and their potential voters a look at what they stand for.

The filing date for the congressional races for 2020 in Montana recently passed. There is one woman running for the House of Representatives. Montana will host Congressional primaries on June 2, 2020 and the general election on November 3, 2020.

The Montana at-large congressional district is open due to Gianforte running for Governor of the state. According to Cook Political Report, the seat is likely Republican.

Here’s what you need to know about Debra Lamm, the Republican woman running for Montana’s At-Large congressional seat.

Debra Lamm is an entrepreneur, business owner, lawyer, former state legislator and state Republican Party chairwoman. Her and her husband have resided in the Treasure State for over 32 years. She is particularly passionate about the pro-life movement and education, having founded both Montanans for School Choice and Montanans Against Common Core. A main tenant of her campaign is “more listening, less talking.”
