On Oct. 2 at the NASCAR race at the Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama, Brandon Brown, a 28-year-old driver, had won his first Xfinity Series and was being interviewed by NBC Sports reporter Kelli Stavast. The crowd behind him was chanting something challenging to make out at first. The reporter suggested they were chanting “Let’s go, Brandon” to cheer the driver. But it became increasingly clear they were actually saying: “F—- Joe Biden.”

The phrase “Let’s Go Brandon” became code for insulting current president Joe Biden and a catchy trend amongst conservative circles. The phrase, now turned political, inspired many prominent conservative hip-hop artists such as Topher, the Marine Rapper, and Bryson Gray to release their own “Let’s go, Brandon” singles in retaliation to President Joe Biden’s shortcomings.

The hip-hop single, “Let’s Go Brandon” by J360 featuring Savannah Craven and Majewski, expresses frustration with the Biden administration’s immigration policies, vaccine mandates, the state of inflation in the United States, and the Biden administration’s agenda and legislation ( these are just naming a few ). The single further highlights how the Biden administration abandoned US troops in Afghanistan as violence between the Taliban and Afghan citizens escalated.

J360 is a musical rap artist that has been in the music industry for over 20 years. He most recently began writing conservative rap just a few years ago. He felt he couldn’t stay silent any longer about his patriotism and support for former president Trump.

Savannah Craven is a rising 20 -year-old hip-hop artist best known for promoting politically conservative ideology in her song lyrics. Craven is a freedom ambassador for BLEXIT, a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of urban and minority communities, and a brand ambassador for Turning point USA, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting conservative values.

J.R. Majewski is a Toledo native and Air Force veteran currently running for congress in Ohio. Majewski went viral on social media when he painted a massive American flag in his yard to honor patriotism and fellow military veterans. Then, he went viral again when painting a giant Trump 2020 banner on his front lawn in support of former President Trump prior to the incoming 2020 presidential election.

According to Craven, the inspiration for the song came from seeing the country unite together through the phrase “Let’s Go, Brandon.

“I see it as proof that the American people are fed up with our current administration and want change. J360 and I knew we had to come together and make a song about it,” said Craven.

The song has exceeded over 1 million views on YouTube alone in less than a month.

“It feels amazing to have hit 1 million views because it means more and more people are hearing our message of unity and love for America. I love reading the comments of people saying our music is a sign of hope for the next generation. As a conservative, it’s easy to feel alone or isolated because of your views, but I feel now more than ever people are standing up for what they believe in,” exclaimed Craven.
