Inspired by the women’s suffrage movement, this tee pays tribute to the OG feminists and their right for their voice to be heard at the ballot box. The yellow rose represented support of women’s suffrage and the supporters often wore yellow roses on their lapel. After decades of persistence and lobbying, the women’s right to vote was passed in Congress in 1919 and was ratified in 1920. To celebrate 100 years of this historic moment, FFL has this Votes for Women collection through the month of August.
