Recently, Hillary Clinton’s campaign team released a playlist on Spotify called “The Official Hillary 2016 Playlist”, filled with songs such as “Roar” by Katy Perry, “Happy” by Pharrell Williams, and “Brave” by Sara Bareilles.
Somehow, we didn’t think these songs clearly portrayed Hillary or her campaign, so we came up with 5 songs that we thought better described who Hillary truly is.
1) “Honey, I’m Good” by Andy Grammer
“Nah nah honey, I’m good, I could have another but I probably should not”
That is just how we feel about having another Democrat president. We already had 8 years of complete foolishness in the White House, and we’re good without having another four more. To another (conservative) candidate we must stay true.
2) “Stressed Out” by Twenty One Pilots
“Wish we could turn back time, to the good ol’ days, When our momma sang us to sleep but now we’re stressed out.”
Wouldn’t it be great if we could turn back time to when we had a strong conservative leader in the White House? But now we’re dealing with so many issues in this country and they have us more than stressed out.
3) “Crash and Burn” by Thomas Rhett
“It’s the sound of teardrops falling down, down. A slamming door and a lesson learned”
If Hillary became president it would only be a matter of time before she would crash and burn. She has been in too many scandals and investigations for us to ever believe that her intentions were honest, and who knows what we don’t even know about? Hillary is a crash and burn waiting to happen
4) “Hot N Cold” by Katy Perry
“’Cause you’re hot then you’re cold, you’re yes then you’re no, you’re in then you’re out, you’re up then you’re down. You’re wrong when it’s right, it’s black and it’s white.”
We all know that Hillary has a record of changing her views on issues just to get votes, just like a girl changes clothes. From gay marriage to the confederate flag, she is is anything but consistent. On top of that, she has purely misguided opinions on the issues of this country, making this Katy Perry song a true reflection of Hillary as a leader.
5) “I Knew You Were Trouble” by Taylor Swift
“’Cause I knew you were trouble when you walked in, So shame on me now”
We have knows that Hillary was bad news since before her announcement. Her past is filled with nothing but lies, deception, and scandals, making her anything BUT a viable candidate for office. But unlike Taylor Swift, we are determined to stop her before we’re lying on the cold, hard ground.
