Center right women took the week by storm by earning endorsements, advocating for causes they’re passionate about, and more. Let’s break down the top 4 headlines from center right women in this week’s Conservative Women Weekly.

Senator Kelly Loeffler earns endorsements from prominent Republicans

At the end of 2018, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp appointed Loeffler to fill Senator Johnny Isakson’s Senate seat, making her the 8th Republican woman to join the United States Senate this term. A special election will be held this year and Senator Loeffler will run for the seat. Republican Rep. Doug Collins has also entered the race and has faced backlash from many on the right for doing so. Many Republicans fear that having both Loeffler and Collins in the race will hurt the GOP’s chances to keep the seat. Georgia has a jungle primary system for the Senate, meaning that if no candidate (regardless of political party) successfully earns over 50% of the vote, the top two will participate in a runoff election. Loeffler has been racking up endorsements including Newt Gingrich, Marsha Blackburn, Tom Cotton, Deb Fischer, Susan B. Anthony List, and more.
