This week, Republican women announced their campaigns, expanded their influences, and got recognized for their milestones. Let’s break it down.

Republican Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar named to Forbes’ first ever 50 over 50 List

“Salazar came to politics after a three-decade career as a journalist for Spanish-language television. She first ran in 2018, positioning interviews with Fidel Castro and Nicolás Maduro as confrontations with “corrupt elites.” Though she lost, she engineered a victory in 2020 with support from President Trump and conservative Cuban-American voters in Miami-Dade county.”

Kari Lake announces run for Arizona Governor

“A former news anchor announced Tuesday her plans to run for Arizona governor in the upcoming election. Kari Lake joins the race against Karrin Taylor Robson and Arizona State Treasurer Kimberly Yee, Republicans candidates. Lake filed a notice of intent with the Arizona Secretary of State.”

Dana Loesch expands her radio audience

“Former National Rifle Association spokeswoman Dana Loesch will replace Rush Limbaugh in many of the markets that ran his conservative talk show until his death earlier this year. Audacy, formerly called Entercom, has struck a deal to air “The Dana Show” in 11 markets.”
