You know what I love about being a conservative woman? The fact that I am constantly told that my party is the party of old, white men. (Sarcasm.) You know what I love about being a FFL Cabinet Member? The fact that I am constantly able to debunk the myth about my party. (Not sarcasm.) Though I’ve always known the Republican Party claims a plethora of inspiring and ambitious women, our Weekly Conservative Woman Series has opened my eyes as to just how many amazing role models the GOP holds. This week, we bring you Katie Kieffer.

Katie is an author, commentator, public speaker, and columnist. She is a frequent guest on both national radio and television programs, with appearances including The Laura Ingraham Show, Hannity, and Fox & Friends. RightWingNews named her one of 2014’s best conservative columnists and NewsRealBlog named her one of the top ten tea party bloggers. The list of awards, mentions, and recognitions she has earned goes on and on. Despite her achievements, she continues to press on, working for something she believes in.

She regularly posts on her blog, with topics including health care, the Second Amendment, national security, and other hot political trends. She also gives her readers peeks into her personal life, proving that no matter how graceful, poised, and elegant she may be, she’s human too, just like us. Katie Kieffer not only sets a high standard for young  conservative women, but she proves that it’s attainable when you strive for excellence.
