“When I first came across FFL, I was inspired to find young women who shared my conservative values and ideals. Applying to the contributor program was absolutely one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. FFL has given me countless opportunities to get more involved with numerous organizations within the conservative movement. As a contributor, I gained not only a network of sassy, intelligent friends and coworkers but also a political voice and a platform to share my opinions. I love FFL because it allows me to connect with like-minded peers all over the country while still remaining flexible to fit in my busy schedule. Getting involved with FFL has impacted me in ways I never imagined and I’m so grateful to be a part of such an inspiring movement.” – Lauren Nickel, Contributor and Managing Editor

“A year ago, I was silent about my passion for conservatism, but discovering Future Female Leaders changed this completely. For a while, I had religiously read nearly every blog post, and even followed the writers and FFL on Twitter. This wonderful team had eventually inspired me not only to voice my beliefs, but to be proud of them. I decided to apply to the Contributor program because of the confidence and encouragement I received from many of the Contributors and Cabinet Members, whom I now can’t believe I have the honor of working aside with today. These principled young ladies have provided for me the courage and integrity in contributing my voice to a social movement which I would have otherwise been deprived of in my fiercely blue state, where I once felt alone in my beliefs and love for politics. From the amazing organization and staff to the leadership and plentiful opportunities given to me through FFL, there are just so many things that I love. What I love most about the contributor program, however, are the relationships I have made. Every single person in this family has been nothing but kind, supportive, and thoughtful. They have all greatly influenced my life in the most positive way possible, especially in helping me develop my own individuality and voice. I know for a fact that these are friends that I will continue to have for a long time.”Emily Narel, Contributor
