Fox News’ Dana Perino to interview President George W. Bush about his new book

“President George W. Bush makes a rare television appearance on Sunday, April 25 to discuss his latest book, “Out of Many, One: Portraits of America’s Immigrants” with Fox News anchor Dana Perino. The hour-long special, “43 Portraits: George W. Bush,” reunites the former commander-in-chief with his former White House Press Secretary. Their interview was filmed in Dallas at the George W. Bush Presidential Center, where an art exhibition showcasing Bush’s collection of 43 full-color portraits of American immigrants will open in conjunction with his book release.”

Justice Amy Coney Barrett lands book deal with conservative imprint

Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett has a book deal with a Penguin Random House imprint, The Associated Press has learned. Adrian Zackheim, who heads the conservative Sentinel imprint, confirmed Monday that he has an agreement with Barrett. Zackheim declined to provide any additional details beyond saying that the book would not be out this year. Coney Barrett, 49, was approved last fall by the Republican-led Senate just weeks after the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She was the third justice selected by then-President Donald Trump and she replaced Ginsburg, the court’s most prominent liberal, gave the court a 6-3 conservative majority.

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem says no to vaccine passports 

Gov. Kristi Noem announced an executive order Wednesday banning governments in the state from issuing so-called COVID-19 vaccine passports in South Dakota…Noem joins a group of other governors who have opposed vaccine passports. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed an executive order earlier this month prohibiting governments in Florida from issuing passports and forbidding businesses from requiring them.
