Human trafficking is a sin of this world. It’s a topic many are uncomfortable discussing because it’s so dark. The media prefers to focus on what Donald Trump or Joe Biden is doing. Human trafficking is the second largest money making business, right behind the drug trafficking business. Human trafficking profits off of human misery. Traffickers see other humans as worthless objects. As someone heavily involved in the fight to end human trafficking, I thought I could share my top five favorite quotes about ending human trafficking, or just inspire others to get involved in fighting human trafficking.

“It’s time for Christians around the world to take a stand, to raise our voices and say, ‘No more.’ No more will we allow girls and boys, many of whom are just children, to be bought and sold as if they were just products for someone else’s personal gain. Their value is priceless, and they are not for sale.” -Tim Tebow

Tim Tebow is one of the greatest fighters and inspirations for me in the fight against human trafficking. Despite getting constant criticism from the woke crowd, he still uses his platform for good. I wish more woke athletes or actors would be willing to fight human trafficking like Tim Tebow does. I ket him at his celebrity golf tournament, and I hope I have the chance to go again because I’d love to thank him for giving me the inspiration to fight human trafficking and bringing it to my attention.

“You may choose to look the other way, but you can never again say that you did not know.” – William Wilberforce

I came across this quote recently, but I thought it was a great quote to invigorate others into not ignoring what’s happening in human trafficking. You can ignore the topic all you want, but you’ll have to answer one day about why you chose to ignore the victim’s suffering.

“Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.” Psalm 82:3

I love this verse to encourage other Christians in fighting human trafficking. I try to share it often when I’m talking about human trafficking with my friends.

“Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is watching.” – C.S. Lewis

I also came across this quote recently but I thought this quote could be great about those who currently work in fighting human trafficking. I’ve seen a lot of people say they don’t see the point in fighting a hidden crime. You shouldn’t be looking at it like that. You should be involved because it’s the right thing to do.

“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”Martin Luther King Jr.

A great quote from a great leader. Martin Luther King Jr. understood the importance of ending slavery. Human trafficking is today’s slavery. If we are not willing to bring light to this issue, it won’t end.

I hope these quotes made you inspired to join the fight in ending human trafficking. Make it relevant to your friends, family, or community. We can be the generation who ends human trafficking.
