In the past month since COVID-19 became a global pandemic over 16 MILLION Americans have applied for unemployment, and many others have had their hours cut dramatically. This might apply to you (I know it applies to me and many of my loved ones) and you’re currently swimming through old resumes, examples of your work and job boards like Indeed and Zip Recruiter trying to figure out what to do. Even if this isn’t you, there’s never a bad time to learn more about resumes, interviewing skills, and what hiring managers look for. Maybe you’re about to graduate from college, move to another state, get married or you were just already planning to change jobs before the pandemic happened. When I was looking for my first job after college, I stumbled upon the YouTube channel Work It Daily, which features videos made by real hiring managers, about all things related to getting a job.
