I would really hate to know the amount of money that I spend at Starbucks, Dunkin, and other coffee shops each month. However, whenever I make coffee at home, it never seems to be as good. I have been trying a ton of different recipes to find the best ones that taste just as good as a coffee shop and finding other life hacks that make a huge difference for at home coffee.

Whipped Coffee

If you’re on TikTok, you’ve likely already explored this trend. But, if you’re looking for a sweet treat, this recipe is for you! Scoop 2 tablespoons of instant coffee into a bowl, add 2 tablespoons of sugar, and then add 2 tablespoons of hot water. Whip this concoction (works best with a hand mixer/blender) and pour over milk. Add ice and mix.

Nespresso machine

I love a good iced vanilla latte. I find that the Diavolitto pods for the Nespresso work best for at home lattes. Use two pumps of Torani Vanilla Syrup and add in a pod (or two!) of Diavolitto to a half glass of milk and mix. Add ice if you prefer iced coffee.

Cold brew

There are several options for making at home cold brew. One of the best is a simple cold brew maker that can be found on Amazon. Add beans and water and you’ll have cold brew overnight! If you prefer strong cold brew, pour over ice. If you like a sweeter coffee, add cream and syrup to taste.

Flavored syrups

Add some extra flavor with flavored coffee syrups. There are so many flavors to choose from and most companies also have sugar free options that taste just as delicious. You’ll end up drinking coffee better than your usual Starbucks order.

Don’t forget to grab a reusable travel mug and straw to take your favorite drink on the go.
