The wait is over. President-Elect Donald Trump has finally announced who will serve as his White House Press Secretary. That lucky man is Sean Spicer, who will be joined on the communication team by Hope Hicks, Jason Miller, and Dan Scavino. I think it’s very important to note that Hope Hicks was the model on the , which was a Gossip Girl spinoff series.
Trump announced his pick on Thursday, December 22nd in a press release announcing his senior communications team, which Spicer will lead.
(Palm Beach, FL) – President-elect Donald J. Trump today announced the senior members of his communications team.
The President-elect named Sean Spicer Assistant to the President and Press Secretary, Hope Hicks Assistant to the President and Director of Strategic Communications, Jason Miller Assistant to the President and Director of Communications, and Dan Scavino Assistant to the President and Director of Social Media.
“Sean, Hope, Jason and Dan have been key members of my team during the campaign and transition. I am excited they will be leading the team that will communicate my agenda that will Make America Great Again,” said President-elect Trump.
Spicer was excited with the appointment and sent out the following tweet only moments after the announcement hit the airways.
Spicer’s official website gives the following biography
Sean M. Spicer is a seasoned communicator and strategist who has been combining his communications skills, creative sense, political savvy and issue knowledge to create, lead and implement successful public policy and issue campaign efforts for over fifteen years. He has a diverse and extensive background including senior positions on Capitol Hill and political campaigns, and the top ranks of the administration.
He certainly has a great sense of humor, as he lists some of his proudest distinctions as “serving as an Easter Bunny at the White House Easter Egg Roll, being lampooned by the Onion, cited as a “Moment of Zen” on the Daily Show, and being mocked by David Letterman.”
