Rep. Nicole Malliotakis Introduces Right to Remain Safe Act

New York Republican Representative Nicole Malliotakis (a freshman congresswoman) introduced the Right to Remain Safe Act, which “seeks to deter local governments from defunding police departments and holds them responsible should someone become a victim to a crime due to the government’s negligence.” This is in direct opposition to the Democrats’ proposed H.R. 1280, “George Floyd Justice in Policing Act of 2021” which Congressional Budget Office studies equate to taking 3,000 police officers off of streets. Republican Rep. Kat Cammack of Florida, whose husband is a SWAT medic and firefighter, also slammed the Democrat legislation, tweeting “I will ALWAYS back the blue. I’ve got your six, especially when the Democrats don’t.”

Rep. Ashley Hinson Amendment Would Redirect Pelosi Pet Project

Ashley Hinson, who introduced an amendment to the bill that would redirect said subway funds to kids’ mental health resources. The proposed funding for the subway was $140 million.

Gov. Kristi Noem joined Joey Jones on “Fox Nation Outdoors” for a pheasant hunt. Last fall, Gov. Noem’s video of her pheasant hunting went viral, garnering some criticism. As a clap back, Gov. Noem appeared on the show and shared her family history of operating a hunting lodge, saying that hunting keeps her grounded and is “a way of life.”

She will be an on-air contributor, and, Harris Faulkner, host of “The Faulkner Focus” said Fox News viewers “will be seeing much more of [Kayleigh] in the future.”
