Disney has stepped into the ring of streaming services and no one is upset about it. On it’s launch day, there were a few hiccups with glitches due to the overwhelming amount of sign ups. In fact, the service had more than 10 million people signed up for the service in a little over 24 hours. Many subscriptions came from the Verizon Unlimited plan –  you get free Disney Plus for a year. This is what I did. It is super easy to do. Just go to the homepage of the Verizon website where it is being advertised and follow the simple steps.

Now I’ve got to say, I had total Walt Disney World Main Street moment. There is so much to take in. The service includes almost 500 films and over 7,500 episodes of some of your favorite shows. This may sound incredibly overwhelming, but Disney Plus makes navigation easy. The home page boasts the typical tabs at the home including “Home”, “Search”, “Watchlist”, “Originals”, “Movies” and “Series.” Closer to the middle of the home screen, you are able to really break down what you may be looking for with big tabs for “Disney”, “Pixar”, “Marvel”, “Star Wars”, and “National Geographic.” The home page also gives you suggestions for movies you might like, trending movies, hit movies, movies based on true stories, Disney classics that are out of the vault, “Mickey Mouse Through the Years”, and even your Disney Channel favorites.

It isn’t hard to move around this service,, but it is hard to decide what movie to watch first. There are the Disney Channel original movies like Johnny Tsunami, Smart House, Zenon, and Hocus Pocus to the favorite series like That’s So Raven, Lizzie McGuire, Hannah Montana, and Boy Meets World

One of the best features is the originals section. This section features Star Wars: The Mandalorian, Disney’s Lady and the Tramp live action film, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, and even an original Disney Christmas movie starring Anna Kendrick — Noelle

This streaming service is perfect for the Disney lover or a Disney loving family. There are animated shows, Disney Junior shows like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Doc McStuffins, and Little Einsteins. In addition, there are movies for adults like Remember The Titans, The Rookie, Avatar, and the Avengers movies.

Disney Plus offers viewers a front row seat to over 8,000 of their greatest works for only $6.99/month or $69.99 per year ($5.83/month).

Bippity-boppity-boop your way over to Disney Plus now and find your inner child.
