Being a working, career-driven woman in her 20s is great until Christmas comes around. People start asking you what you want and the panic sets in. As someone who has a lot more money now than she grew up with, I struggle asking my family for things when I can buy them myself. I’m also impatient, and when I realize I need/want something, I have a hard time not just taking care of it right then. Thank you, Amazon Prime. I’m also at the point in my life, as are many of my friends, where we are becoming really cognoscente about what we do and don’t like and want to prevent filling our apartments with clutter. If you’re a driven young working girl though, you have probably come to realize there are some fun items that can make your life a lot better. Maybe, it’s time to take a step back and ask for these items for Christmas, or wait until after Christmas and buy them for yourself.

Here are ten items that should be on the Christmas wish list of every working girl in her 20s, with something for every budget. Use this list as a jumping off point when asked what you want by coworkers, boyfriends, moms, and grandparents.

AirPods

A bit pricey, but worth it. Don’t worry about carrying different earphones for your phone, laptop, and watch. Plus, you can get them engraved. A perfect gift.

Statement Earrings

Jazz up any outfit with some good earrings that will always remind you of the gift giver. You can shop these in all price ranges.

An Eye Mask/Pillow

Give the gift of relaxation and rest and gift a cute little eye pillow perfect for any yogi or just the girl on the go who needs to get some better sleep. This is an excellent stocking stuffer.

Gift Cards for Your Favorite Department Stores

Stop letting grandma buy you the wrong size jeans and give the gift of choice. A gift card to a department store like Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, or Nordstrom is a great gift that gives many options.

A Kindle

Keep the love of reading alive with a Kindle, perfect for people always on the go who never want to be without a good book.

A FitBit

Stay abreast of your fitness goals and use it as a kind of smart watch without being too tethered to your emails. Lots of options across all price points.

A Good Purse

A good purse is the gift that keeps on giving. Pick something roomy with a good exterior and watch the changes it can make to any outfit.

A CrockPot or Instant Pot

Finding the time (or motivation) to cook a big meal is hard when you’re working all the time. Invest in a crockpot or Instant Pot that will help make meal planning a little easier. Don’t forget to include a book of recipes!

The Coffee Mug That Holds the Heat

No one, in the history of the world, has ever had too many coffee mugs. It’s sustainable, you can get them personalized, and you know they’ll be put to good use.

Statement Shoes That Slay

An ideal way to make any outfit stand out–even jeans and a t-shirt, and it’s a lot easier for people to remember your shoe size.
