FFL would like to wish a happy Wednesday and a happy April Fool’s day to our fabulous readers! Despite the date, Wednesdays are no joke here at FFL. No matter how tempting it was to feature Hillary Clinton as today’s WCW, we refrained. Instead, we’ve decided to feature a woman so fierce she demands your attention. This woman has experience under her belt and thats something we have the utmost respect for. Because of this, we chose Sharon Day as our latest weekly conservative woman.

Our WCW, Sharon, was elected Co-Chair of the Republican National Committee on January 14, 2011, and reelected on both January 25, 2013 and January 16, 2015, which proves she is more than capable of holding her own, taking charge, and getting things done. Before holding Co-Chair, she served as RNC Secretary. On top of that, she has served at the grassroots level of the Republican Party in Florida for more than 20 years. (Can someone say dedicated?!)

During her service to the Republican Party, Day has recruited multiple successful candidates, worked closely with party activists, and done her absolute best to spread the Republican message, which she believes includes fewer taxes, less spending, and more freedom. She has made opening the doors of our party to women and minorities a priority, something we can all get behind. Because of her many accomplishments and her evident dedication to standing by her beliefs, we believe Sharon Day is a perfect role model and an ideal WCW.
